Unicus Olympiads

India’s first Summer Olympiads examination is Unicus Olympiads. The Unicus Olympiads is conducted for students of classes 1-11. It is an internationally held online Olympiad for brilliant minds. The exam usually takes place in the month of May-July every year

Unicus Olympiads play a crucial role in building and shaping careers from an early age. It works as the bridge to success for kids and helps to make a strong foundation to future competitive careers. Participating in exams like these helps to increase confidence to face all challenges in life. This Olympiad is designed in such a way that it does not just test the student’s concepts but the application of those concepts in a limited time environment.

Unicus Olympiads is conducted in following subjects:

  • Unicus Mathematics Olympiad (UMO)
  • Unicus Science Olympiad (USO)
  • Unicus English Olympiad (UEO)
  • Unicus General Knowledge Olympiad (UGKO)
  • Unicus Cyber Olympiad (UCO)
  • Unicus Critical Thinking Olympiad (UCTO)
  • Unicus Non-Routine Mathematics Olympiad (UNRMO)

Exam Pattern 

  • Unicus Olympiad is an objective type examination. Students who register for the examination get to practice 1 free trial and 3 mock tests before the examination.
  • The examination is divided in two sections –

             Classic section

            Scholar section

  • The Unicus Olympiads is held in only one level for all the subjects except for UNRMO which has 2 levels.
  • This examination has 70-75% weightage of the previous class and 25-30% weightage of the one before. This will be valid for classes from 3rd to 11th. 
  • Students studying in class 2nd, the exam will have 100% weightage of class 1st. While for class 1st, the exam will have 100% weightage of pre-primary classes. 
  • Unicus Olympiads are conducted in the assistance of parents/teachers for students of class 1 so that the kids don’t face any issues while appearing for the exams.
  • Since the examination is held through online mode, a laptop/computer with a webcam and good internet connection is a must. 

How to register for Unicus Olympiads?

  • Participation in UNICUS Olympiads can be done through schools or can also participate individually.
  • Every school that is registered with UNICUS Olympiads is sent a prospectus containing the registration forms. 
  • Students can receive their prospectus by sending an email info@unicusolympiads.com if their schools are not registered. 
  • All the students are advised to fill the form with accurate details and then submit the registration form to the school authorities. The school authority then return the registration forms to UNICUS Olympiads, duly filled in and complete in all respects by the due date.

Exam Fee

For Unicus Olympiads all the students registering from India have to pay Rs. 225 for each subject. For students studying and residing outside of India, the fee is USD $10.

Awards

# The awards and recognitions for students appearing in UMO, USO, UEO, UGKO, UCO and UCTO (classes 2 to 11) are as follows:

  • The top 15% students are recognized with a Merit Certificate.
  • The top 3 candidates from classes 2-11 are recognized with a Scholar Trophy and Merit Certificate.
  • All participating candidates are provided with a digital participation certificate. Students can download the certificate from the dashboard.
  • Any candidate who meets 2 or more criteria then he/she will qualify for a higher award.

# The awards and recognition for students appearing for UMO, USO and UEO (class 1) are as follows:

  • Candidates scoring above 60% will be sent a Merit Certificate and a Medal.
  • All the participating candidates will be awarded a digital participation certificate. It can be downloaded from the certificate.
  • No ranks will be declared for all the students.

# The awards and recognition for students appearing for UNRMO (classes 3 to 10) are as follows:

  • The top 15% of candidates will qualify for Level 2 exam.
  • Candidates who pass the Level 2 examinations will be recognized by Merit Certificate and if they secure marks in Level 2 which aren’t in the bottom 10% or they do not miss the exam.
  • All the top 40% of candidates in Level 2 will be awarded with a medal and a merit certificate.
